Top Performers: PepsiCo Showdown Goal, Assist & Save Leaders

When all 64 high schools and 2,000 players return to the Inwood Soccer Complex in Joliet on Saturday, odds are some of Chicago and Northern Illinois’ top talent will square off against one another.

More than 2,500 minutes of high school soccer will take place in the fourth round of the PepsiCo Showdown Boys, which will feature players from the city and suburbs, public and private schools and stars from small and large soccer clubs alike.

This is the second consecutive Saturday in which all high schools will be at the same site, allowing college coaches and media to see all players and teams with ease of walking a few yards to each of the six fields playing at once.

Which players and teams are standing above the rest heading into Saturday’s play? Here is a look at some of the statistical categories after nearly 7,500 minutes of soccer in the largest high school tournament in the U.S.:
